Radiant-868

The Radiant 868 is an high quality simplex/half duplex Radiomodem with integrated antenna, operating in the UHF868 – 870 MHz ISM Band. This device is specifically designed for an outdoor installation and it’s characterised by a R.F. Power of 25,150 or 500 mW ERP, automatically set by theoperating sub-band, and a canalisation of 12.5 or 25 kHz in according to the ERC 70-03 Recommendation. This device is Free Use in thewhole European Union. At the high frequencies used in this apparatus, the losses caused by connectors and antenna wiring may significantly reduce the device operating area so, the integrated antenna, minimising these lo sses, improves the system efficiency. The RS-485 Serial Port and the internal switching supply unit allow the use of a long connecting cable between the Radiomodem and its ancillaries and, to avoid any interference problems, a multicore shielded cable is used.
