Alexander Bufalino joined KORE in October 2016 and serves as SVP International Sales & Marketing. He previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Telit. Mr. Bufalino joined Telit in 2005 at the very beginning of the company's initial globalisation push with the task of reforming the brand from that of a European company, built solely for the European market, to that of a global leader in M2M/IoT carrying not only machine to machine communications (M2M), but also other cellular technology products.


Mr. Bufalino joined as Marketing Director and in the 11-year tenure with Telit progressed with the titles of Vice President of Global Marketing, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer. One of Alex's top contributions to bring and keep Telit in the brand awareness forefront in the industry was "telit2market" magazine. Every year starting in 2006 Mr. Bufalino produced and distributed telit2market worldwide. The magazine was dedicated to all players in the M2M and later IoT ecosystem. It ran for 10 years and by the time the printed version of the magazine was retired after its 10th edition, it had reached over one million readers in print and online views. Alex serves as the chairman of the International M2M IoT Council the largest and fastest-growing trade organisation in the IoT/M2M sector with over 18,000 OEMs, enterprise users and apps developers as members.

Robin has nearly 40 years experience in the telecom/IT industry. Firstly for over 18 years in commercial roles – including IT Systems Analysis, Marketing Management, Sales Management then General Management in international technology vendor companies. Secondly for over 20 years in market analysis and consulting roles, including director of research at Dataquest/Gartner and a Principal at other leading firms before founding Beecham Research.


He has been researching the M2M/IoT Connected Devices market since 2001 and is an internationally recognized thought leader in this area. Robin gained a BSc honours degree in Electronics, followed by an MSc in Management and Business Studies at Warwick University in the UK. He also studied at INSEAD in Fontainebleu, France.

Robin is also a Director of Beecham Technology Partners, based in London UK, which provides strategy development, transaction planning and integration services for mergers and acquisitions in the M2M/IoT market.

He is Chairman of the Industrial Internet Consortium's Business Strategy Task Group and led the development of the IIC’s Business Strategy and Innovation Framework. He is also Co-Chair of the IIC’s Business Strategy and Solution Lifecycle Working Group, and is responsible for the addition of the term Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networking to the lexicon of the IoT.

Gilli served 20 years with Telefonica and O2UK in the field of fleet & asset management as well as SMART metering and security management creating strategic relationships, new innovations and significant business development in a General Manager capacity.

Gilli then joined CGI a leader in the Systems Integration space, Gilli developed strategy and solutions in The Internet of Things with companies.

Joining KORE (then Wyless) in 2013 as Chief Strategy officer and Managing Director of EMEA Gilli formed part of the senior management team who drove the growth and development of new business ahead of the acquisition of Wyless by KORE in April 2016.

Gilli currently holds the position as Vice President for Strategic Development and continues to promote high performance, sales, customer & market engagement as well as diversity and equality within KORE and within the Internet of Things industry. She is a key sponsor of many Women in Technology & Telecoms sectors and performs as a board member of The Internet of Things and M2M Council, established to promote strong working practices of Internet of Things and is a keen mentor for various Women in technology groups and individuals.

Tom Rebbeck leads Analysys Mason’s Enterprise and IoT research practice drawing on more than 16 years of experience in the telecoms sector. He is based in London, and works for clients worldwide. Tom is a specialist on the Internet of Things (IoT) and other enterprise services and has written widely on the role for operators as telecoms markets develop.


As well as published research, he has worked on projects for a range of clients – including operators, regulators, industry bodies and vendors. Many of these projects have been supported by original research, such as expert interviews and customer surveys.

He rejoined Analysys Mason from Telefónica, where he was a Global Project Manager in the Mobile Data Group. In this role, Tom was involved in the launch of a number of services across Telefónica’s worldwide footprint, including Telefónica-branded apps, application stores and mobile advertising. Prior to this, he was a Principal Analyst for Analysys Mason, involved in numerous strategic projects for clients.

In the IoT arena he has experience already for more than 10 years. 1st of July’16 he has started as CEO IoT business of Anil Ambani-le Reliance Group based in Mumbai to execute the IoT strategy for India.


Till recently, he was director, IoT / M2M at Qatar-based Ooredoo, responsible for implementing the company's IoT business in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, in multiple vertical segments.

Before he has founded and managed as Vice President the M2M Competence Center on group level all national and global M2M / IoT activities for Deutsche Telekom.
