A ComTrac™ Total Tracking Solution GPS tracking or fleet management device is installed into each vehicle and keeps track of the vehicle's precise location, speed and direction, and records & reports additional vital information. By pre-selecting parameters (10, 5, or 1 second tracking updates), clients decide the circumstances under which a fleet vehicle will report. This information is forwarded to ComTrac™ System Online, where clients can view the activities of their truck fleet on digitized maps by using the Internet. In addition, the client can utilize ComTrac™ System OnLine to carry out control functions. For example, a fleet vehicle can be remotely disabled or enabled and the doors can be unlocked with the point and click of a mouse.
