RD-Wireless Modbus is Reindeer's latest release with versatile features for the Wireless Modbus market.
These RF modules come with high performance, low cost and small form factor are suitable for AMR applications for Energy, Water and Gas Meters.
They are available in multiple variants as high and low power RF transceiver modules operable in multiple ISM band frequencies such as 433, 868 and 915 MHz. This general purpose module can be configured for easy integration and interoperability with other WMBus networks.
These versatile, long range RF modules can be interfaced to the host devices through UART/SPI of the host microcontroller. The output power can be increased up to +24 dBm through the software so the module can work as a high or low power RF transceiver module, to transmit the data given through the UART. The additional I/O ports also offer flexibility and scalability for external device integration.
