Carium, a virtual care management platform technology, saw growth after the company launched in 2018. Now, they work with some of the large healthcare providers in the country. As Carium evolved and expanded, the team recognised a technology gap for patients who were unable to utilise bluetooth-connected devices for remote monitoring. Trusted Connectivity Alliance (TCA) has announced election of Bertrand Moussel (Valid) as chair of board for 2023-4. The organisation works to promote eSIM (embedded subscriber identity module) interoperability, advanced use of eSIM technology across upcoming IoT (internet of things) use-cases and support sustainable creation. Moussel has served on TCA’s board since 2016 and succeeds Claus Dietze (Giesecke+Devrient), who stepped down following three consecutive terms as chair. Dietze remains on board alongside Benoit Collier (IDEMIA), Christian Vignes (STMicroelectronics) and Stephane Quetglas (Thales). Airties and Domos, has announced an alliance to provide enhanced latency management capabilities to broadband service providers around world. Airties and Domos will jointly own latency monitoring software module, based on Domos’ existing module, and will be embedded into Airties smart Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) software. Additionally, Domos will gain access to Airties’ customer base to expand distribution of its network X-ray agent through integration with Airties smart Wi-Fi solutions. NTT DATA, announced that it has partnered with North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to implement smart traffic solution to mitigate wrong way driving incidents. CEVA, Inc. has announced that its rivierawaves bluetooth 5.4 platform is SIG (special interest group) qualified and already licensed to several customers, including to those addressing electronic shelf label (ESL) market. Global technology intelligence firm ABI Research forecasts that ESL (electronic shelf label) market will grow from nearly 185 million annual shipments in 2022 to nearly 560 million units by 2027, with bluetooth-enabled ESLs accounting for a growing portion of overall market.
