A new study by Juniper Research has found that network operator spend on MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing) will grow from $2.7 billion (€2.22 billion) in 2020, to $8.3 billion (€6.83 billion) in 2025, as operators invest heavily in upgrading network capacities and infrastructure to support the increasing data generated by 5G networks. IoT analysts, Berg Insight report that the number of active fleet management systems deployed in commercial vehicle fleets in Australia and New Zealand was almost 1.0 million units in Q4-2019. According to a new research report from the firm, it is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.5%, and is expected to reach more than 1.8 million units by 2024. (more…)
