On August 17 and 18, Lithuania staged Telematics Vilnius 2022, reportedly global IoT platform Wialon’s community event. The gathering saw more than 150 IoT experts from 51 countries come together to discuss telematics trends including fleet management, GPS tracking and IoT. The two-day event in Vilnius, said to be a booming global tech hub, as well as the Wialon headquarters, culminated in an award ceremony where Wialon celebrated its best performing telematics and IoT partners worldwide alongside the top ranking GPS hardware manufacturers. 18 August, 2022 – Social Development and Human Security Ministry and dtac signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), forming a partnership to empower the indigenous peoples through digital and entrepreneurial training, with the aim to increase economic well-being and promote sustainable tourism. The pivotal partnership will primarily focus on 24 villages covering seven ethnic minority groups with outstanding products and will expand to cover 20 groups of indigenous peoples in three years. Camarillo, United States. 18 August, 2022 – Semtech Corporation, a global supplier of high performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms, is collaborating with New Zealand’s IoT Ventures and global connectivity provider Lacuna Space.
