As part of DISA’s digital transformation strategy under the fourth estate network optimisation (4ENO) initiative, the deployment will include HPE Aruba Networking Wi-Fi 6 access points (APs) and HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass in support of approximately 400,000 DoD users and warfighters worldwide. Boingo Wireless, a provider of wireless connectivity solutions for the U.S. military, has deployed its Wi-Fi at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. The Air Force base, which houses more than 7,000 active military personnel, selected Boingo to design, install and manage a high-bandwidth Wi-Fi network throughout 15 buildings, providing fast connectivity to those living in the dormitories. Ziply Fiber, a residential internet provider in the Northwest, has announced the launch of its 10-Gig home internet service across its four-state footprint in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. The breadth of availability of this new, ultra-high-speed service tier, delivered on Ziply Fiber’s 100-Gig fibre network. Actelis Networks, Inc., a market provider in cyber-hardened, deployment networking solutions for wide area IoT applications, has announced that the city of West Sacramento, CA, will be deploying Actelis’ new hybrid fibre-copper, high-switching capacity devices as part of a traffic signal network upgrade.
