Kajeet, a wireless connectivity and device management provider for education, government, and commercial markets, announced the availability of the eduroam (education roaming) global network access service for SmartBus, connect suite, and smart transit customers. As a federated authentication service, eduroam allows participating institutions to provide access to their wireless networks to users from other participating eduroam institutions. Dios chooses Netmore for connecting properties with LoRaWAN

The Swedish property company Dios has chosen Netmore LoRaWAN for a number of smart digitisation applications that will be enabled in the entire property portfolio. Nordic-powered wearable delivers walk cueing for people with Parkinson’s disease

UK-based company gaitQ will soon launch a wearable device that provides walk cueing for people with Parkinson’s disease. The ‘gaitQ Tempo’ is made up of a handheld controller and two leg-worn devices that use vibrational cues to help people with Parkinson’s maintain a more fluid and stable gait.

Huawei to boost young women’s digital education, expand internet services to isolated communities

To mark International Girls in ICT Day 2023, Huawei promised to actively support the International Telecommunication Union’s “Girls in ICT” initiative. Inspired by the slogan “Digital Skills for Life,” Huawei will offer classes and technology programmes to teenage girls and young women in Thailand.
