Prysmian Group selects IBM To help accelerate digital transformation

Prysmian Group, a provider of energy and telecom cable systems industry and the manufacturer of cables in the world, has selected IBM Services to help expand and manage its global technological infrastructure. The three-year agreement engagement is designed to addresses Prysmian’s need to better integrate their presence in 50 countries around the world. Samsung demonstrates first MCPTX video call on AWS

Samsung Electronics has announced a demonstration of the first video call on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform using Mission Critical Push-to-Talk, Data and Video (MCPTX, also known as Mission Critical Communications), a communications capability developed for first responders. It was enabled by the successful onboarding, integration and deployment on AWS cloud. This implementation was based on 3GPP Release 14 specifications.

USGv6 revision aids adoption of IPv6-only networks, harmonises testing programs

There have been a lot of changes to the IPv6 space since the original NIST USGv6 profile was released back in 2008.
