Visa’s board of directors elects Visa CEO Al Kelly as chair

Visa Inc. announced that its board of directors has unanimously elected Alfred F. Kelly, Jr. as chair of the board, effective as of April 16, 2019. Mr. Kelly will continue to serve as Visa’s chief executive officer, a role he has held since December 2016. Mr. Kelly will succeed Robert (Bob) Matschullat as chair of the board. Mr. Matschullat will continue to serve on the board and as chair of the board’s Finance Committee. (more…)

Huawei unveils AirEngine as new Wi-Fi brand and announces global mass-market deployment of its Wi-Fi 6 products

Huawei launches Track AI to help detect early signs of visual impairment in children around the world

Huawei has partnered with leading medical research organisations to help protect children’s vision by deploying their Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Huawei is working with IIS Aragon and DIVE Medical to develop an AI-based vision assessment technology, Track AI, to help detect and diagnose early signs of visual impairment in children.
