In efforts to enhance agricultural productivity, improve farmers’ profits, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the sector regionwide, an Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) announced the designation of the National Agriculture and Food Research Organisation (NARO) of Japan as its new centre of excellence on climate-smart agriculture (COE on CSA). Washington, United States – Armis, an asset visibility and security company, announced that it has achieved U.S. DoD Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) authorisation to operate (ATO) at Impact Level 4 (IL4). Cybersecurity remains a critical challenge for both small and large businesses, particularly as workforces continue to work from home, and with the amount of cyber attacks increasing. Deutsche Telekom has built an ecosystem that covers the entire textile recycling process, including intelligent control of container fill levels, re-use and recycling. This makes Deutsche Telekom a digital trailblaser in building a textile circular economy. Smart textile recycling containers help to reduce material consumption and CO2 emissions in the production of textiles. And together with partners Remondis and the Boer Group, new fibres can be produced from old workwear.
