Enea signs contract for traffic management worth $2mn

Enea has signed a contract for traffic management with a service provider in North Africa. The solution is part of the customer’s modernisation of mobile and fixed broadband and enables efficient management of services and data traffic, along with enhanced quality of experience. The agreement includes software licenses, professional services, and product support. Software licenses corresponding to a value of $1.4 million (€1.28 million) are recognised in the third quarter of 2023, while remaining parts of the agreement are delivered during the coming year. The total contract value is USD 2.0 million.

Vodafone to expand 5G coverage to high-speed railways in Spain

A joint venture between Vodafone Spain and SEMI, a Spanish industrial group, has been awarded a five-year, €25.5 million contract by ADIF to enhance the high-speed train routes from Albacete to Alicante and Barcelona to Figueras with 5G coverage. This initiative is part of the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).

CityFibre secures three UK project gigabit broadband rollout contracts

CityFibre has been secured with three new contracts under the government’s £5 billion (€5.82 billion) Project Gigabit programme. NTT launches hyperscale data centre campus with new subsea cable system in Chennai

NTT has announced the launch of its hyperscale data centre campus, Chennai 2, and the arrival of its subsea cable system – MIST (Myanmar/Malaysia India Singapore Transit) in the city. The Chennai 2 campus is located in Ambattur, spread across 6 acres is a project with a total planned capacity of 34.8 MW (megawatt) critical IT load from 2 data centre buildings.
