AWS contributes edge gateway to Open Compute Project Foundation

U.S. Customs and Border Protection selects Silvus MANET Radios to enhance interoperability, shared situational awareness

United States, 13 April 2023 – Silvus Technologies, Inc., a global provider of an advanced wireless networking communication systems announced that United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has secured Silvus a 4-year, $9.9 million (€9.02 million) IDIQ contract for StreamCaster MANET radlios and MN-MIMO waveform technology. As part of the contract award, Silvus has secured an initial $1.75 million (€1.59 million) task order to support CBP’s southern border sectors. Silvus StreamCaster MANET radios and MN-MIMO waveform were selected for their ability to create a secure, and resilient mesh network, connecting key border technology systems, sensors, aircraft, and front-line personnel. Defense Information Systems Agency improves wireless networks, access management with HPE

Houston, United States – Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), a combat support agency of the United State Department of Defense (DoD) headquartered in Fort Meade, MD, is modernising and securing wireless networks with HPE Aruba Networking ESP (Edge Services platform) solutions. As part of DISA’s digital transformation strategy under the fourth estate network optimisation (4ENO) initiative, the deployment will include HPE Aruba Networking Wi-Fi 6 access points (APs) and HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass in support of approximately 400,000 DoD users and warfighters worldwide. Boingo Wireless brings high-speed Wi-Fi to Travis Air Force Base
