As IoT and other consumer devices such as wearables shrink to meet a “right sized” form factor for a variety of applications, the size of the components that go inside increasingly becoming an issue for device manufacturers. A new report by Juniper Research found that revenues from smart audio devices like the Amazon Echo and Sonos One will grow from an estimated $2.5 billion (€2.13 billion) in 2017 to over $10 billion (€8.52 billion) by 2022, as more audio brands integrate voice assistants into their devices. (more…)
