Nokia and Vecima Networks announced plans for Vecima to acquire key, next generation technology and products for cable service providers. Under the agreement, Nokia’s Gainspeed portfolio along with all supporting technology and assets will transition to Vecima Networks. The announcement of a new standard for Internet of Things (IoT) security by the ETSI technical committee in June 2020 was very much welcome in the infosec industry.
