Aetheros Open Computing, Communication Cards for smart meters now available in North America

Aetheros, a provider of machine-type computing and communications, has announced that its open computing and communications cards for smart metres are now available in North America. The Aetheros Edge Server Router for Meters (AOS ESR-M) and LTE Network Interface Card (AOS LTE NIC) are providing a secure, Linux-based, open computing and communications platform for smart meters. Northeastern University’s institute for the WIoT launches OUSD(R&E) funded Open6G Cooperative Research and Development Centre
