Hot Pepper Mobile partners with NextNav to bring vertical location technology to upcoming device on tier-one national carrier

Mobile phone developer Hot Pepper Mobile and NextNav, a specialist in GPS, has announced a new agreement that will bring NextNav’s Pinnacle vertical location technology to Hot Pepper Mobile’s upcoming feature phone on a tier-one carrier’s network, scheduled for release in 2023. The partnership will bring z-axis geolocation capabilities, which are increasingly critical for 911 emergency services, search and rescue, and lone worker safety, to an accessible and affordable consumer device. Romania equips its prisons with body-worn camera technology from Motorola Solutions

Chicago, United States – The Romanian National Administration of Penitentiaries has signed a contract with Motorola Solutions to deploy 2100 body-worn cameras to enhance safety and security in all prisons across the country. The new cameras will be used by prison staff during guarding activities and prisoner transport to help deter and deescalate confrontations and collect video footage in the event of conflicts or emergencies. Umo to bring contactless fare technology to Sault Ste. Marie

San Diego, 23 August 2022 – Umo is coming to Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario, Canada, improving convenience and access to public transit by embracing contactless fare technology.
