Hot Pepper Mobile partners with NextNav to bring vertical location technology to upcoming device on tier-one national carrier

Mobile phone developer Hot Pepper Mobile and NextNav, a specialist in GPS, has announced a new agreement that will bring NextNav’s Pinnacle vertical location technology to Hot Pepper Mobile’s upcoming feature phone on a tier-one carrier’s network, scheduled for release in 2023. The partnership will bring z-axis geolocation capabilities, which are increasingly critical for 911 emergency services, search and rescue, and lone worker safety, to an accessible and affordable consumer device. IoT experts connect in Lithuania for Telematics Vilnius 2022

On August 17 and 18, Lithuania staged Telematics Vilnius 2022, reportedly global IoT platform Wialon’s community event. The gathering saw more than 150 IoT experts from 51 countries come together to discuss telematics trends including fleet management, GPS tracking and IoT. The two-day event in Vilnius, said to be a booming global tech hub, as well as the Wialon headquarters, culminated in an award ceremony where Wialon celebrated its best performing telematics and IoT partners worldwide alongside the top ranking GPS hardware manufacturers.
