i3 Broadband acquires Missouri’s Big River Broadband, Circle Fiber

Midwest fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) provider i3 Broadband has closed the acquisition of Big River Broadband, and its wholly owned subsidiary Circle Fiber. The combination will allow i3 Broadband to further expand its fibre footprint to residential and commercial customers across central Illinois and eastern Missouri.

DFS, Rohde & Schwarz complete nationwide radio modernisation programme with approx. 4000 air traffic control radios

Rohde & Schwarz has announced the completion of the Radio Site Upgrade and Modernisation programme with DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH for all aircraft flying in German airspace. The programme entails radio modernisation, Germany-wide with approx. 4000 radios at nearly 100 radio sites, connected to the four large area control centres and 15 international airports operated by DFS.
