Glo Fiber, powered by Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (‘Shentel’), announced that they have reached an agreement with municipal officials to deploy next generation fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband services to Mount Joy Borough, Pennsylvania. CityFibre has been secured with three new contracts under the government’s £5 billion (€5.82 billion) Project Gigabit programme. Viasat Inc., a global provider of satellite communications, and Space Norway, have announced that the two satellites for Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission, has completed thermal vacuum testing.
