Semtech and Console Connect jointly announced their collaboration which will expand Semtech’s connectivity coverage across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for its AirVantage Smart Connectivity service.

The LoRa Alliance, the global consortium supporting the open LoRaWAN standard for Internet of Things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), announced on Tuesday that Stefan Lindvall, CEO of MultiTech, has joined its board of directors. His extensive experience and leadership in the IoT industry make him a valuable addition to the LoRa Alliance board.
Under his guidance, MultiTech has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing IoT technologies and promoting interoperability, aligning with the goals of the LoRa Alliance.

The IoT M2M Council (IMC) has announced that it will hold a series of open forums in the next month to discuss security for infrastructure that connects remote devices. The objective of the forums will be to develop practical guidelines for deploying IoT technology that spans both consumer and industrial markets and addresses all the basic facets of an IoT deployment, including devices, networks and cloud/application software. The Open6G Open Testing and Integration Centre (OTIC) at the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things (WIoT) at Northeastern University have announced entering into a partnership and contractual agreement with AmpliTech Group, a NASDAQ company, to perform 5G interoperability testing (IoT) and conformance testing of AmpliTech’s newly released, O-RAN CAT B 64T64R MIMO radio unit (O-RU). This activity will take place at the Open6G OTIC in Boston and Burlington, Massachusetts.
