Eutelsat has announced that its multi-mission high-capacity 10B satellite has started operating at the 10° East orbital position. As previously announced, this new addition to the Eutelsat fleet has already secured multi-year capacity commitments with several maritime and in-flight connectivity service providers. BAE Systems has secured a [£870 million (€1019.07 million)] contract by Ministry of Defence (MOD). Under this contract BAE Systems will deliver a new radar to enhance the Royal Air Force’s (RAF) Typhoon fighter jet fleet and strengthen the aircraft’s control of the airspace whilst providing electronic warfare capabilities. A joint venture between Vodafone Spain and SEMI, a Spanish industrial group, has been awarded a five-year, €25.5 million contract by ADIF to enhance the high-speed train routes from Albacete to Alicante and Barcelona to Figueras with 5G coverage. This initiative is part of the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
