Nokia announced that it will work with U.S. energy provider Xcel Energy to help modernise grid operations to better serve customers across the company’s eight-state service area. The project will include the deployment of Nokia private LTE (long-term evolution) network technology, helping support secure, data connectivity and new levels of automation. Eutelsat has announced that its multi-mission high-capacity 10B satellite has started operating at the 10° East orbital position. As previously announced, this new addition to the Eutelsat fleet has already secured multi-year capacity commitments with several maritime and in-flight connectivity service providers.
