Setar and Nokia bring 5G to Aruba in end-to-end deal

Setar, the communications provider in Aruba, has expanded its current partnership with Nokia with an agreement to provide a full end-to-end 5G network transformation. In a phased approach, the deal will see Nokia upgrading RAN access and modernising elements of the core and data management systems. This is the first end-to-end 5G deal for Nokia in Latin America. Mobile tech is enabling ‘huge’ carbon reductions in response to climate emergency, says GSMA

Embedded car OEM telematics subscribers to reach 340mn worldwide by 2024, says Berg

According to a new research report from the IoT analyst firm Berg Insight, the number of telematics service subscribers using embedded systems will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.1% from 80.4 million subscribers at the end of 2018 to 339.3 million subscribers at the end of 2024. ‘Safer, more accurate’ GeSi wide spectrum 3D sensor to be unveiled at CES in Vegas

Hsinchu, Taiwan-based Artilux, a specialist in photonics and electronics technology, will be unveiling its Explore Series at CES 2020 in Las Vegas (January 7-10th).
