KBR Vaault gains priority status for FedRAMP JAB authorisation in government cloud services

KBR announced that its commercial cloud and mission service platform, KBR Vaault, has been prioritised for Federal Risk and Authorisation Management Programme (FedRAMP) Joint Authorisation Board (JAB) authorisation process. KBR’s integrated technology solution is one of six products currently prioritised for JAB authorisation as a part of FedRAMP, a joint US government effort to provide cost-effective and risk-based cloud services. The University of Liverpool’s project secures £9mn to tackle challenges of digital connectivity

The University of Liverpool’s project, has been awarded £9 million (€10.48 million) funding from department of science, innovation and technology. It aims to tackle challenge of poor digital connectivity in places where there is a high user demand such as busy railway stations, football matches or large concert venues. The Liverpool City Region High Demand Density (Liverpool City Region HDD) project aims to demonstrate benefits of open RAN (radio access network) technology to support large number of users accessing mobile and internet services in settings such as sports and music venues. Tarana raises $50mn to sustain growth in wireless broadband technology

Tarana Wireless, Inc., announced that Digital Alpha Advisors, has joined Tarana’s investor group. The $50 million (€46.92 million) up round led by Digital Alpha is focused on both accelerating Tarana’s growth in sales and deployment of G1 (generation 1), its next-generation fixed wireless access (ngFWA) platform, as well as expanding R&D investment.
