Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s partnership with Siemens dramatically reduces carbon and costs

30 May 2022 – In April 2017 Stoke-on-Trent City Council formed a strategic collaboration with Siemens to develop a series of energy-saving projects as part of the council’s plans to dramatically decrease carbon emissions, increase the use of renewable energy and reduce costs. As the lead technical partner, boosted by several local partnerships, Siemens entered discussions to investigate ways of improving the energy performance of the local authority’s buildings over a five-year period. Renesas RA family MCUs achieve CAVP certification for comprehensive suite of cryptographic algorithms

Dusseldorf, Germany. 19 May, 2022Renesas Electronics Corporation, a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, announced that the security engine of its RA Family of 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M microcontrollers (MCUs) has been certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cryptographic algorithm verification program (CAVP). LightSpeed Technologies selected to deliver an IP core network for Tennessee utility

18 May 2022 – LightSpeed Technologies, Inc., a full-service systems integrator providing networking solutions and Nokia’s 2021 Top Business Partner (VAR), announces it was selected by a utility in the state of Tennessee to deliver a multi-million-dollar gigabit passive optical network (GPON) enabling Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) for its municipal customers. The IP Core Network, under construction by LightSpeed, is comprised primarily of Nokia 7750 routers.
