Clinical-Grade AFE from Analog Devices measures four vital signs for remote patient monitoring devices

Simplify the design of wearable remote patient monitoring (RPM) devices by measuring four vital signs with one MAX86178 triple-system vital signs analogue front end (AFE) from Analog Devices, Inc. This single-chip AFE integrates three measurement systems (optical, ECG and bio-impedance) to obtain four common vital signs: electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG), heart rate (ECG or optical PPG), blood-oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and respiration rate (using BioZ). The MAX86178 enables synchronised optical PPG and ECG timing for derived health metrics. (more…)

Mobility-as-a-service subscriber revenue to increase 900% by 2027

A new study by Juniper Research has found that MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) subscribers will generate $53 billion (€45.27 billion) in revenue for MaaS platform providers by 2027; rising from $5.3 billion (€4.53 billion) in 2021.
