VR consumer content revenue to exceed $7 billion In 2025, led by console gamers

A new report from Juniper Research has found that consumer virtual reality content will bring over $7 billion (€5.85 billion) in revenue in 2025, an increase of over 160% on the $3 billion (€2.51 billion) it is expected to generate in 2020. The primary driver for consumer content in this space will be console gamers, which will account for 41% of revenue generated in 2025. (more…)

Smart home devices to exceed 13bn in active use by 2025

A new report from Juniper Research has found that there will be almost 13.5 billion smart home devices in active use by 2025, compared to an expected 7.4 billion at year end 2020.
