NETGEAR Inc., has introduced Nighthawk Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System (MK93S), engineered for mesh Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) range and performance. The system, consisting of a router and two satellites, delivers 50% improved Wi-Fi performance over previous model and speeds up to 5.7Gbps (gigabytes per second). Adtran has expanded its Mosaic One subscriber solutions with the launch of Intellifi. This cloud-managed Wi-Fi solution designed for communication service providers (CSPs) equips them with the tools to monitor, manage and monetise residential Wi-Fi networks. Wi-Fi Alliance is augmenting Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 testing protocols to support the regulatory authorisation process of 6 GHz standard power devices pursuant to recently published Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) guidance. Release of this new testing allows product vendors and service providers to verify that the 6 GHz standard power devices meet the technical requirements in Part 15, Subpart E of the FCC rules pertaining to operations under control of the Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) system.
