Viakoo raises $10mn in Series A funding to scale automated IoT vulnerability remediation

Viakoo, the provider of IoT device remediation, announced it has secured $10 million (€8.58 million) in Series A funding led by Shasta Ventures, joining existing investors Stanley Black & Decker, PivotNorth Capital, and Blue Fog Capital. This latest round will be used to expand executive leadership, and investment in product development and go-to-market.

The latest generation of UHF RFID products

In this Expo, Chainway has for the first time presented its full range of upgraded UHF RFID products based on IMPINJ’s latest E710/E510/E310 reader chips.  These include a new series of RFID modules and handheld/ wearable/fixed/desktop RFID readers.  These newly developed products feature higher UHF read / write performance, lower power consumption, and smaller dimensions and are thus able to tackle even the most demanding applications where high sensitivity, long range, high precision and high speed are indispensable.

C66 build-in RFID reader received “IOTE2021 Gold Award

Renesas acquires Israel-based Celeno for US$315mn to expand its connectivity portfolio

Tokyo, Japan, October 28, 2021 ― Renesas Electronics Corporation, a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with Celeno Communications, a provider of smart Wi-Fi solutions, for Renesas to acquire Celeno in an all-cash transaction. The deal values Celeno at approximately US$315 million (€269.87 million or approximately 35.9 billion yen at an exchange rate of 114 yen to the dollar), assuming certain milestone payments are made as detailed in the agreement.
