Samsung SmartThings, the provider in smart home automation, announced a partnership with Google, bringing the company’s portfolio of Nest products into SmartThings, one of the IoT ecosystems. IoT analysts, Berg Insight report that the number of active fleet management systems deployed in commercial vehicle fleets in Australia and New Zealand was almost 1.0 million units in Q4-2019. According to a new research report from the firm, it is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.5%, and is expected to reach more than 1.8 million units by 2024. (more…)
