New XENSIV PAS CO2 Shield2Go board for carbon dioxide measurement featuring an integrated prototyping concept to test system behaviour

Munich, Germany. 27 July, 2022 – Poor ventilation can lead to rapid accumulation of CO 2. This is a threat to human well-being, as even moderate CO 2 concentrations can affect health and productivity. Efficient indoor air quality monitoring systems can prevent such issues. In addition, carbon dioxide detection is enabling energy savings through demand controlled ventilation. However, to implement those systems quickly and easily, it is important for developers to test the behaviour of a system in a controllable and time-saving manner. Therefore, Infineon Technologies AG is launching the new XENSIV PAS CO2 Shield2Go board, which is suitable for both air quality monitoring and demand-controlled ventilation for energy savings.
