Ubiik, a provider in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and private LTE (pLTE) (long term evolution) solutions, has announced the acquisition of New Zealand-based Mimomax Wireless, a provider of communication solutions for narrowband channels. Legrand‘s lighting control brand Vantage has announced an alliance with the Lucetta brand from Elemental LED (light-emitting diode), a new partner in the Vantage LHUMAN Light Fixture Alliance. The Swedish property company Dios has chosen Netmore LoRaWAN for a number of smart digitisation applications that will be enabled in the entire property portfolio. Netmore provides Dios with a network that includes 330 properties in Sweden, where Dios will initially focus on energy optimisation and measurement based on the use of data from smart sensors. 30 May 2022 – In April 2017 Stoke-on-Trent City Council formed a strategic collaboration with Siemens to develop a series of energy-saving projects as part of the council’s plans to dramatically decrease carbon emissions, increase the use of renewable energy and reduce costs. As the lead technical partner, boosted by several local partnerships, Siemens entered discussions to investigate ways of improving the energy performance of the local authority’s buildings over a five-year period.
