MOX Networks, a fiber-optic network specialist, and Cologix, a network-neutral interconnection, ecosystem, and hyperscale edge data centre company, announced a new partnership today aimed at expanding connectivity solutions for their customers across North America. Currently connected to the Cologix Minneapolis data centres, MOX is now offering 1G, 10G, and 100G capacity services to all Cologix customers, with the ability to extend service to several Chicago area data centres and the Seattle metro area. TE Connectivity (TE), a provider of connectivity and sensors, its Fresnel lens fits directly to the Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) on the AmbiMate MS4 Multi-Sensor Module, giving the device a detection zone of 4m diameter at a height 2.8m.
