Prophesee closes Series B funding round of US$19m with unnamed electronics giant as new strategic investor

Prophesee SA (formerly Chronocam), inventor of what is claimed to be the first bio-inspired vision system, has closed the initial tranche of its Series B financing round, which will total $19 million (€15.44 million). Led by a new strategic investor from the electronics industry, the round also includes staged investments from Prophesee’s existing investors: 360 Capital Partners, Supernova Invest, iBionext, Intel Capital, Renault Group, and Robert Bosch Venture Capital.
