Linux Foundation welcomes new open source projects from Peraton Labs to scale 5G security

The Linux Foundation, a nonprofit organisation focused on fostering innovation through open source, has announced an open sourcing of two new 5G projects, ProD3 and SEDIMENT, from Peraton Labs. Peraton Labs is a provider of applied research unit of Peraton a mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider. Both projects will now be hosted at the Linux Foundation as part of its broad portfolio of networking projects. (more…)

Paris, France. 23 February 2023 – Sequans, a provider of cellular IoT chip technology, and Thales, a provider of digital security, are partnering to bring to market a new integrated SIM (iSIM) solution supporting the latest GSMA SGP.31/.32 eSIM IoT specifications on Sequans LTE-M/NB-IoT Monarch 2 chip. The new version of the GSMA standard leverages industry experience with GSMA’s M2M and consumer eSIM architectures to bring a more advanced remote SIM provisioning architecture that is fully suitable for any IoT device.
