Nokia wireless connectivity supports The Ocean Cleanup to rid the oceans of plastic

Semtech promotes Asaf Silberstein to chief operating officer

Semtech Corporation, a semiconductor, IoT systems and service provider, has announced that Asaf Silberstein has been promoted to the newly created role of chief operating officer (COO) from his previous position of executive vice president, worldwide operations and information technology. ST Engineering iDirect’s Mx-DMA MRC waveform technology will enable Mexican connectivity service provider Aitelecom/APCO Networks to support services on its new MicroGEO satellites that will be built by satellite manufacturer, Astranis Space Technologies (Astranis). The satellites and ground infrastructure will deliver critical connectivity for 4G cellular backhaul and enterprise services across Mexico and part of Central America. Continental, Infineon to develop server-based vehicle architectures

Continental will be collaborating with Infineon Technologies AG in the development of server-based vehicle architectures. The goal is an organised electrics/electronics (E/E) architecture with central high-performance computers (HPC) and a few, powerful zone control units (ZCU) instead of up to a hundred or even more individual control units, as it was previously the case. Continental now uses Infineon’s AURIX TC4 microcontroller for its ZCU platform. (more…)
