Smart home devices market continues to grow but localisation remains a challenge

The Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) smart home devices market which includes smart home appliances, home monitoring/security, lighting, smart speakers, thermostats, and video entertainment devices saw strong growth in the final quarter of 2019. Dusseldorf-based Renesas Electronics Corporation reports that the ZMOD4410 gas sensor is at the heart of the Safera Sense smart cooking sensor.
