Senate’s IoT Cybersecurity Act requires US government to invest only in ‘secure’ solutions

As we reported on August 2 (US senators planning bill to ‘secure’ the Internet of Things but users are a weak link, say experts), US senators are demanding tougher security for the Internet of Things (IoT). Google unveils Cloud IoT Core service in beta to secure enterprise device management

Google has unveiled a new IoT management platform. Called Cloud IoT Core, it is a fully managed service that reportedly allows users “to easily and securely connect, manage, and ingest data from millions of globally dispersed devices”.
