Cisco appoints Oliver Tuszik as new president for Europe, Middle East, Africa region

Oliver Tuszik has been announced as the next president of Cisco Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). With over 10 years of experience in Cisco, Tuszik most recently held the position of senior vice president of Cisco global partner sales and routes to market business, where he supported Cisco’s global ecosystem of partners and advocated for customer needs. Prior to this, Tuszik has over 25 years of management experience across Europe for Cisco, as CEO of Computacenter in Germany, and in various other IT companies. Openreach invests £12mn to improve broadband connectivity in Powys

EE connects more remote Highlands locations to 4G

EE has collaborated with several partners, including the Scottish Government, the Scottish Futures Trust, and WHP Telecoms, to deliver 4G connectivity across remote areas in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. This joint effort has led to the installation of 13 new 4G masts as part of the Scottish Government’s €28.75 million Scottish 4G Infill programme (S4GI), aimed at extending 4G infrastructure and services to rural areas that previously suffered from severely limited mobile coverage.
