Legrand‘s residential lighting control brand Vantage has announced its partnership with CoolAutomation. With this partnership, CoolAutomation edge devices can integrate any compatible HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system brands into Vantage InFusion System securely and ensure communication between the two. This allows homeowners to control their HVAC from their preferred keypads, touchscreens, motion sensors, timers, etc., and it provides feedback of actual temperature and setpoints on the Vantage Equinox touchscreens. Hughes Network Systems, LLC, an EchoStar company, announced that it has been awarded a five-year, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the US Space Force for proliferated low earth orbit (LEO) satellite-based services. Under the IDIQ vehicle, valued at up to $900 million (€827.14 million), US Department of Defense, other federal agencies and international coalition partners can procure managed, low-latency LEO services from Hughes leveraging capacity on two constellations: OneWeb and EchoStar Lyra.
