Heliot Europe, a UK and European Sigfox operator and independent IoT network operator and solution provider, has partnered with B4T to provide it with Sigfox-0G network connectivity for its smart water meters. Known by the industry as B4T’s Jellyfish smart water meter range, these IoT devices allow utility companies, organisations and consumers to track water consumption so that leaks within systems can be better managed, and for accurate billing. Analog Devices, Inc. has announced that Richard C. Puccio, Jr. will join the company on February 5, 2024 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, Mr. Puccio will set ADI’s financial strategy and lead the company’s global finance operations. Mr. Puccio will report to CEO and chair Vincent Roche.
“Rich brings tremendous experience and capability from his more than three decades of leading financial advisory and high-growth business operations activities in complex technology sectors, and this makes him a great addition to ADI’s leadership team. We welcome Rich’s sharp business acumen to enable ADI to accelerate the effectiveness of our operations in a world of increasing opportunity and complexity,” said Vincent Roche, ADI’s CEO and chair. “I would also like to thank Jim Mollica for his partnership and contribution as interim CFO, and I look forward to Jim’s continued leadership in ADI’s finance organization.”
Mr. Puccio joins ADI from Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he served as CFO. In his role at AWS, Mr. Puccio partnered closely with the business to manage more than 200 fully featured services, including compute, storage, databases, robotics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), mobile and security, among many other technologies. Prior to his role at AWS, Mr. Puccio was at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for nearly 29 years, where he served as a partner for over two decades. During his tenure at PwC, Mr. Puccio primarily served clients in the global technology, semiconductor and semiconductor capital equipment industries.

Netmore Group has formed a partnership with the Danfoss business unit Leanheat to enhance energy efficiency in properties throughout Sweden. By leveraging Netmore’s LoRaWAN technology, the collaboration aims to achieve significant energy savings of 20-25%. The focus is on optimising energy consumption and reducing waste in buildings.
The partnership between Netmore and Danfoss aims to enhance the energy management of Swedish properties. Utilising temperature and humidity sensors together with Danfoss Leanheat’s AI-supported software, the initiative is expected to contribute to reducing energy consumption in the involved properties, with the potential for 20-25% energy savings.
Danfoss Leanheat’s approach includes the option of installing sensors in apartments for detailed energy usage data, although it is not mandatory for the functionality of the system. Danfoss has, together with Netmore, added more than 2,000 sensors to Netmore’s network in a short period and more are on the way. This deployment remains a key component in achieving the projected energy savings.
Beyond immediate energy efficiency improvements, this partnership sets the foundation for future exploration of additional use cases. By reducing energy consumption in heating and ventilation, this collaboration promotes environmental sustainability as well as offers financial benefits to property owners. It contributes to more sustainable and efficient property management practices, aligning with long-term goals of both cost savings and environmental responsibility.
“Establishing a robust and secure technical network is essential for connected property management,” Maria Gihlström, a sales manager at Danfoss Digital Services, said. “Our partnership with Netmore is crucial in developing a digital infrastructure that supports interconnected systems and sensors, providing a comprehensive solution for digital energy optimisation.
