As we reported on August 2 (US senators planning bill to ‘secure’ the Internet of Things but users are a weak link, say experts), US senators are demanding tougher security for the Internet of Things (IoT). Under draft legislation called the IoT Cybersecurity Improvement Act, smart devices would have to meet basic standards to be used by government departments. (more…)
