Global Certification Forum announces first IoT chipset certification with u-blox

The Global Certification Forum (GCF) has announced that u-blox is the company to certify a product under its new IoT chipset certification scheme (started in January this year). This latest GCF programme is designed for chipsets covering NB-IoT and LTE-M and facilitates the easy integration of embedded chipsets into modules and devices. The u-blox UBX-R5 Cat-M1 chipset is the first product to achieve certification under the new scheme. (more…)

Irish logistics firm ‘revolutionises’ supply chain with IoT tracking

Ireland’s mails, parcels and ecommerce logistics company, An Post, has contracted VT-IoT, the operator of Ireland’s Sigfox 0G network to overhaul its supply chain. Heilind Supplier TE Connectivity introduced AmbiMate MS4 multi-sensor module

TE Connectivity (TE), a provider of connectivity and sensors, its Fresnel lens fits directly to the Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) on the AmbiMate MS4 Multi-Sensor Module, giving the device a detection zone of 4m diameter at a height 2.8m.
