Midwest fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) provider i3 Broadband has closed the acquisition of Big River Broadband, and its wholly owned subsidiary Circle Fiber. Rohde & Schwarz has announced the completion of the Radio Site Upgrade and Modernisation programme with DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH for all aircraft flying in German airspace. The programme entails radio modernisation, Germany-wide with approx. 4000 radios at nearly 100 radio sites, connected to the four large area control centres and 15 international airports operated by DFS.
