World Economic Forum launches toolbox of solutions to accelerate decarbonisation in cities

Infineon, Delta Electronics collaborate on electromobility to provide more efficient, higher-density solutions for electric vehicles

Infineon Technologies AG, a global automotive semiconductor company, and Delta Electronics, Inc., a power and energy management company based in Taiwan, are expanding their long-term cooperation from industrial to automotive applications. Today, both companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will deepen their joint activities to provide more efficient and higher-density solutions for the market of electric vehicles (EV). The agreement covers a wide range of components such as high-voltage and low-voltage discretes and modules as well as microcontrollers to be used in EV drivetrain applications such as traction inverters, DC-DC converters and on-board chargers. Singtel starts building ‘highest power density’ data centre in Singapore

Singtel has commenced the construction of DC Tuas, Singapore’s ‘highest power density’, hyper-connected green data centre, following a ceremony with guest-of-honour Infocomm Media Development Authority’s (IMDA) chief executive Lew Chuen Hong. In addition to its data centres in Singapore, Singtel has partnered Telkom and Medco Power in Indonesia, and GULF and AIS in Thailand, to build data centres in Batam and Bangkok respectively.
