Inseego Corp, the global provider in software-as-a-service (SaaS) business intelligence solutions, Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile technology, announced general availability of the T2050 wireless Voice over LTE (VoLTE) home phone solution with replaceable backup batteries.T2050 is an advanced solution that provides HD quality voice and extends the T2000 family of Inseego solutions.

The global VoLTE market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 47% through 2021, according to Research and Markets. As the shift from landline to wireless home phone continues to grow nationwide, so does demand for reliable solutions.

The shift reflects a combination of residential and business customers cutting the cord and customers with use cases in markets where wirelines are unavailable. VoLTE provides a great option for service providers to extend home VoIP services to residential customers at a much lower cost.

“We are committed to expanding our product lines and technology into new markets based on our customers’ needs,” says Ashish Sharma, EVP of IoT and Mobile Solutions of Inseego Corp. “Customers in emergency situations need to know that their lifeline to 911 isn’t at risk due to a power outage or wires being compromised. The T2050 offers unmatched audio quality, wireless reach and simple installation, while allowing our customers great portability.”

Available for wide-scale deployment, T2050 includes all the features such as VoLTE, voicemail, caller ID, dual RJ11 ports for Phone/Fax, and an RJ31 port for home security systems. With replaceable AA batteries, the T2050 is an excellent home phone solution for customers who want the benefit of VoLTE crystal clear calling with the peace of mind that they will continue to have home phone service when the power goes out.

Businesses are taking advantage of the flexibility also. Significant savings are realised with the T2050 as a replacement to traditional POTS lines to support systems such as point of sale due to its flexible installation and service cost.
