High demand for IoT services in Thailand reported
Connected cars, fleet management and smart cities drive IoT growth in Thailand
TrueMove H, the first mobile operator to introduce 4G LTE in Thailand and the country’s largest 3G network, has partnered with Jasper Wireless to roll-out the Jasper Control Center IoT platform. The move will enable enterprises throughout Thailand to introduce new IoT-based services that enhance their customers’ experiences, while unlocking new revenue channels.

Industries already showing a broad demand for IoT services in Thailand include:
- Connected Car – Many automakers are manufacturing their cars in Thailand, making the country a strategic first market for many Connected Car programmes. This partnership will enable all vehicle manufacturers in Thailand to take advantage of Jasper’s platform via TrueMove H.
- Fleet Management – Companies throughout Thailand are using IoT to better monitor and manage their fleets to increase efficiency and improve service.
- Smart Cities – Dense urban areas like Bangkok are rapidly adopting smart cities technologies, including smart meters, connected transportation, and more.
