Eder appointed new president for embedded computer association SGET e.V.

Christian Eder is new President of SGET e.V.

The SGET e.V., a technical consortium hosting and developing specifications for embedded computer technology, announces a change in the management of the organisation. Wolfgang Eisenbarth, founding member of SGET and president since 2017, retires from his position for personal reasons.

During his time in office, the SGET has grown to 47 member companies and 5 active working groups. The complete SGET management would like to thank Wolfgang very much for his extraordinary commitment.

Based on the statutes of SGET e.V., the second deputy chairman, Christian Eder, assumes the office of president.

Until the new elections of the management board for the annual general meeting 2021, the management board now consists of 4 persons: Christian Eder (congatec AG) as Chairman, the position of the First deputy chairman remains open, Martin Unverdorben (Kontron) as Second deputy chairman, Martin Steger (iesy GmbH) as Treasurer and Mark Swiecicki as secretary.

SGET e.V. is a registered technical, scientific, and educational association organised under German law with its registered office in Munich. The purpose of the Association is the promotion of science, technology, and research for the benefit of society.

Embedded computing companies, board or system level manufacturers, semiconductor and connector manufacturers, software developers, research, and educational institutions as well as embedded system integrators, OEM solution providers and industrial users, can join the SGET e.V. and contribute their ideas.
